Vintage Baby Shower
The Vintage Baby Shower was thrown in anticipation for a little princess who was to be born by a mother with classic tastes. The future mother consulted with the planner, expressing her desired color scheme and atmosphere.
The shower was held in a tasteful venue with tables set outside. The place settings were done in white and grey, with light pink decorations, according to the future mother's preferences.
The tablecloths and chairs were white, and the pastel pink napkins were bound with napkin rings made of strands of pearls. The china was beautiful in its simple elegance. Each white plate was decorated with thing silver rings, one around the circumference, another slightly closer to the center.
Vases in silver mercury were chosen for the centerpieces, giving an impression of antiques from a former era. Roses and hydrangeas joined white peonies, to create the classic white bouquets. The vases were of alternating shapes and were hung with pearl strands. The tasteful, classy setting was altogether pleasing and relaxing. Special attention was given to every detail of this special, tailored event. White flower bouquets also adorned the window sills, for which the light pink stone of the walls provided a perfect background.
The dessert table's décor was beautiful and enticing. The table was adorned by white candles in silver candelabras, antique picture frames and white flower bouquets. Enticing candies and dainty individual desserts appeared between the ornaments. The cake consisted of two tiers of pure white and was decorated with pearl strands. A white rosette flower was tastefully positioned at the base of the smaller, upper tier.
The backdrop against which the dessert table was set was sheer material, decorated with a silver frame. The frame was adorned with strands of cascading pearls and a white rosette flower, for additional vintage ambience.
