The wonderland baby shower offers a lovely setting by choosing a rustic location with natural stone floors and backdrop. Set up a picnic table and cover with a white linen and then swirl blue fabric to create a wave look. Set a one foot tall glass vase on the table with fairly evenly cut small branches white washed with white paint and leave some color from the tree. Within the glass vase place seashells to keep the branches in place. Embellish the tree by hanging an old mason jar from the branches with raffia or leather and a rustic white bucket. Sprinkle blue flower pedals across the table. Include some branches white washed with blue paint as well. Place a two tiered white wooden square serving tray on the middle of the table for serving.
Take blue paper and fashion it into a snow cone shape and secure it with a spot of hot glue. Repeat the process for as many guests as are expected to arrive. Keep extra supplies nearby in case you run low and need to make more. Glue two inch pieces of rope to the front in a cute shape for added whimsy. Set an old wooden short table on one side with prepared over-sized blue bow-ties with white polka dots. Cover each guest table with a white linen tablecloth, sprinkle shells, drape decorative ropes, cut flower pedals, and some natural looking starfish. Order cupcakes with same colors for liners and dress them with white fondant stars with sparkly sprinkles. Display the cupcakes in a funny shaped basket. Place cake display stand upside down to showcase the sugar cookies that mimic the cupcakes. Make a tree from white and blue dipped cake balls for height. Create added charm by crafting a piece of original art or pick something up at the craft store to help the setting seem larger than life. Place wedding cookies in a large clear glass barrel or vase to serve.
