One benefit of store bought foods is convenience. it easy easy to grab off the shelf and go. You can feed it to your child within minutes of purchase. You do not have to go through the motions of preparing it your self which can take a long time to do. Store bought brands also off the nutritional benefits that your child needs in order to properly develop. Store bought brands offer about the same nutritional benefits as breastmilk and formula. The downside to buying store brand baby food, is that these foods typically

contain added sugars which may harm the child, as it relates to their oral care.

Negatives and Positives Of Homemade Baby Foods

I would say the one negative thing about handmade baby food products is that it is time consuming. If you are a busy parent, chances are that you do not have the time to fix a homemade meal for your child let alone yourself. Another downside is that it may be more costly as you will need to by jar to hold the food, and ingredients to make the food. While the negatives are mild the benefits are far more plentiful.
