To get a shape of an image you are after, I would head to magazines or google image. Trace the shape onto the paper. Cut it out and add a tooth pick with a glue (super glue or glue gun would work well)
DIY Elephant Cupcake Topper & Bunting Decoration
This beautifully designed and crafted elephant cupcake toppers and bunting was created by Disney of Ruffles and Stuff. The cupcakes toppers were made with small purple pompoms and elephant heads that were cut off from polka dotted paper. The bunting was made from fabric scraps and lacy ribbon using freezer paper stenciling method. This involves use of freezer paper which you can find at your local supermarket (grease proof paper), fabric paint, an iron, and paint brushes etc for the painting.
